• The Ironworkers Retiree's Club was established by retired Ironworkers for the good and welfare of our retired membership.  This includes conducting informational meetings to address retiree issues and update our members on vital information in regards to retirement.  The meetings also serve as an opportunity to socialize with other retirees renewing old friendships and making new ones! 
  
  
• Membership Requirements:  Any retired member or former member who is presently receiving a pension check from the Twin City Iron Workers Fringe Benefit funds or other Fringe Funds previous to the merger of Locals 793 and 563.
  
  
• Meetings:  The Retiree's Club usually meets three times a year in Region A.  However, additional meetings may be scheduled as necessary.  Keep in mind the Retiree's Club does not meet in the winter months (January, February, and March).  Meetings dates will be announced by mail and on the Web Site.

Retiree's Club Annual Activities

• Region A - Annual Golf Outing:  All retiree's in Local 512's jurisdiction are invited to attend the annual golf tournament.  This activity is held in August each year.  The sign up information and date of tournament will be included in the annual July meeting notice.
  
• Region A - Annual Mille Lacs lake fishing charter:  preliminary sigh up information will be available at the Christmas meeting in December.  All regional members who are interested in sign up or more information should contact their regional advisory representative.
  
• Meetings in Region B (Duluth area) and Region C (Bismarck/Mandan):  Please contact your regional advisory members listed below for further information regarding retiree meetings or activities in your area.

Meetings & Activity Announcements

• Region A - Annual Holiday Meeting:  The annual Retiree's Club Holiday meeting wil be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 12:00 pm; hot lunch will be served at 12:00 pm followed by the membership meeting at 1:00 pm.  Remember, all regional members are welcome to attend!  This meeting will be held at the Region "A" Union Hall located at 851 Pierce Butler Route, St. Paul, Minnesota.  This is a great opportunity to come out and enjoy lunch and visit with your fellow retiree's!  Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting!
  
  
• Region B - Informational and Annual Holiday Meeting:  All Region B retiree's are invited to attend the upcoming membership and Holiday meeting on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 7:00 pm.  This meeting will be held at the Iron Workers Local 512 Regional Office and Training Center at 3752 Midway Road, Hermantown, MN  55810.  Those retiree's attending please meet in the assigned classroom for the retiree meeting.  Food and refreshments will be served after the meeting.  See you there!
  
  
• Region C:  Spring 2009 Meeting to be announced.  Retiree's in Region C will be notified by mail when final arrangements are confirmed.
  
  
• Annual Mille Lacs Lake Fishing Charter:  June 2009.  (Regions A and B).  Date to be announced.  Preliminary sign up information will be available at the upcoming Holdiay meetings.
  
  
• Annual Golf Outing:  August 2009.  Date to be announced.
  
  
• Region A - Monthly Breakfast Get Togethers:  Breakfast outings are held on the third (3rd) Tuesday of each month at Schroeder's Bar and Grill located at the intersections of Dale St. and Front in St. Paul.  Retiree members usually meet at about  9:00 am;  al retiree's are welcome to attend.  Keep in mind this is a self pay event.
  
  
• Future Meetings:  (All Regions)  Dates and locations will be announced when arrangements are finalized.
